Top Picture: the Spruce Goose, the plane that Howard Hughes built for the war effort. It flew only one time, in ground effect, at Long Beach, California. The bottom picture is me in the actual pilot's seat of the Spruce Goose wearing a hat similar to the one Howard Huges wore when he flew the Spruce Goose.
